Wildcat Weekend - Homecoming & Reunion

In October of each year, we welcome alumni from all years to Wildcat Weekend, a spirited weekend filled with athletic events, an alumni panel, a reception with the headmaster and faculty, reunion year dinners, and more.

Alumni Hall of Fame Dinner

The Alumni Hall of Fame was created by the Alumni Executive Board to recognize alumni for their post-RCDS accomplishments. The Alumni Hall of Fame dinner is held every other year (even-numbered years) during Wildcat Weekend.

Thanksgiving Games

A twenty-five-year tradition at RCDS, this annual event attracts alumni and their families who come together to visit with their coaches and re-live their glory days as RCDS athletes. RCDS alumni return year after year to play hockey and basketball and to visit with Coach Frank Effinger, Coach Gil Castagna, Coach John Sabia, Athletic Director Wendy Haft, and others. The games and reception take place on the Friday evening following Thanksgiving.

Networking Panel and Reception

A panel of accomplished alumni share their career experiences, followed by a reception and a chance to meet alumni leaders in diverse industries. This event is open to the senior class and all alumni. Alumni who are building their network, exploring careers, or considering a career transition are encouraged to attend.

Regional Alumni Receptions

RCDS arranges several events and receptions throughout the North East and across the country. Check "Upcoming Events" in the e-Newsletters or the registrations available above to see if there is an upcoming reception close by.

Blue & Gold Dinner

Every year, the Senior Class gathers shortly before graduation for the Blue & Gold Dinner, sponsored by the Alumni & Development Office. During that dinner, we honor the graduating class as the newest members of our alumni community. The Alumni Executive Board joins the seniors as we celebrate their accomplishments and welcome them to the Alumni Association.

Headmaster's Circle Reception

Each fall, the Headmaster and the Board of Trustees invites Annual Giving donors at the $2,500 level and above to a reception honoring their generosity and celebrating the success of the previous year's campaign.

RCDS Hosts Alumni Panels

Members of the Class of 2017 met with young alumni to discuss life in college and beyond. The seniors asked thoughtful questions, and the panelists emphasized that their successes at college have depended on an open mind and willingness to adapt. Most revealed that the major they had anticipated choosing before going to college changed because of other opportunities that arose. This event is one of many opportunities the seniors will have to network with RCDS alumni.  As graduates they will be able to access the RCDS LinkedIn group of over 625 members, as well as use our new platform, RCDS Alumni Advisor Network, to ask fellow alumni for resume critiques and mock interviews.

On the same evening as the young alumni panel, an established alumni career panel and networking event took place in the PAC foyer.
