Echo - The RCDS Yearbook
It is time to buy Echo ads for the 2010 book. This year the order form is on the RCDS website. Simply download and print the form, and return it to Donna Fulton in the Pinkham Building. The instructions are on the form. Thank you.
The RCDS yearbook is a remarkable annual publication that captures the dynamic quality of RCDS students in all three divisions of the school. Filled with formal photos, candids, and detailed senior pages, it is an RCDS tradition that is cherished by the entire RCDS community. Upper School students are in charge of the entire production of this complex project. The end result is always a unique and spirited vision of the year at RCDS.
Echo is created by students in the course Computer Applications: Yearbook. Students learn all aspects of creating the Rye Country Day School yearbook, from planning the contents to designing the page layouts and keeping records of the production deadlines, orders, distribution, and advertising. All of these tasks involve computer skills, but most of the course focuses on layout and the production procedures necessary to create the book with desktop publishing software.
