Congratulations to rising senior Helena Zimmerman on receiving the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam award, a yearly award that recognizes Jewish teens for leadership and commitment to social good.
Zimmerman co-founded TeensGive.org, a non-profit creating rewarding and flexible volunteer opportunities for high school students. About 4,000 students from around the country are members and more than 200 volunteers tutor students on TeensGive's virtual platform.
Helena has previously received the Prudential Spirit of Community Award, as well as rants from other organizations including the E.E. Ford Foundation.
