The State of the School going into the sesquicentennial year is strong, and we look forward to continued growth in the years to come.

CODE LIKE A GIRL
Twenty-one middle- and upper-school girls have gathered to form a new club on campus: Code Like a Girl. 
LET MY LOVE BE HEARD
The 23rd annual Festival Chorus Concert, featuring movements from the Brahms Requiem and pieces by Jake Runestad and Craig Hella Johnson, took place at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. One hundred and forty-two singers and a full professional orchestra captivated the audience with a beautiful, stirring performance.  
RCDS ROBOTICS CHAMPIONS
Two RCDS VEX robotics teams performed so well in a competition at Lycee Francais de New York that they have qualified for the State Championship Tournament! RCDS took home the overall competition win as well as the design award win.
ALL-SCHOOL ACTIVITY IN HONOR OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.
On Friday, January 12, all students, faculty, and staff participated in school-wide discussions and an art project to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Boston-area alumni and friends are invited to a reception on Thursday, April 5, at the Boston College Club. Join current and former faculty members Jeff Bates, Gil Castagna, Johnny Flynn, Lauris Khan, and Dick Pike to learn more about RCDS today and its plans for the future. 
RCDS ALUMNI HALL OF FAME 2018
The RCDS Alumni Hall of Fame celebrates and recognizes the School's most accomplished alumni. Do you know of a classmate who has made a significant contribution to the world and/or within his or her field? Please submit a nomination or contact the Alumni Office at 914-925-4525.  Nominations for the 2018 Alumni Hall of Fame are due March 27, 2018.

Josh Bennett '06 says this about his new poem, " I have a new poem—about my father, who was one of the first black students to attend, and graduate from, his high school in Alabama back in the late 60s—featured in this most recent issue of The Nation. Today, and every day, I am immensely grateful for his courage, his example, and his abiding love."  Read here.

Congratulations to John Treacy Egan '80, who has been named to the cast of the upcoming Lincoln Center revival of My Fair Lady.
