On June 12, more than 80 RCDS alumni celebrated the start of summer at Park Avenue Tavern. The annual New York City reception is an alumni favorite, and this year’s gathering featured a special celebration of beloved retiring faculty members P.E. Teacher and Coach Gil Castagna and Upper School Math teacher Lauris Khan.

Head of School Randall Dunn, Director of Advancement Lynette Gioffre, and Manager of Alumni Relations Melissa Wirth were in attendance and expressed their thanks to the Alumni Executive Board for hosting the joyful gathering.

It was terrific to see alumni across decades connect, catch up, and make new RCDS friendships. It was a perfect summer night in Manhattan!
