Rye Country Day graduate Charlie Allen ’21 was recently awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Program Grant.

Awarded by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program gives accomplished students and professionals of all backgrounds the opportunity to study, teach, and conduct research abroad.  The program’s goal is to expand perspectives through academic and professional advancement and cross-cultural dialogue. 

A 2025 graduate of Bowdoin College, where he double majored in classical studies and history, Charlie will work as an English Teaching Assistant in a secondary school in Czechia for the 2025-26 academic year.
