Grace Allen ’24 and Maya Torgalkar ’27 Named to New York Long Island Independent All-American Lacrosse Teams

On Sunday, June 23, two RCDS Lacrosse standouts, Grace Allen ’24 and Maya Torgalkar ’27, received honors from the New York Long Island Independent All-American teams.

Grace Allen ’24 garnered Academic All-American honors, and Maya Torgalkar earned All-American honors. Both were named to their respective teams after being among the top four recipients with the highest number of votes within their pools.

The voting was determined through Google voting from coaches in each region. Players eligible for votes for Academic All-American honors are starting juniors or seniors who demonstrate exemplary lacrosse skills and possess a grade point average of higher  than 3.7 throughout their high school career.

Eligibility for the All-American title is reserved for the best players in a region who are All-State or All-League honorees, exemplars of superior skills and sportsmanship, and excellent scholars.

Congratulations, Maya and Grace, on these prestigious recognitions!

Go, Wildcats!
