Film director and producer Grant Johnson '10 recently produced his latest film 100 Nights of Hero. A historical fantasy romance based on Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel which comes from a Middle Eastern folktale. 

The film had its world premiere in the Settimana Internazionale della Critica section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and was the Closing Night film of the 2025 BFI London Film Festival back in September. It was released in the United States on December 5, 2025 and movie- goers can view the film nationwide. 

Over the past few years, Grant has produced and directed films including The Assessment (2024), Summer Camp (2024), May December (2023), Agent Game (2022), Nighthawks (2019), and Frat Star (2017). His theatre credits consist of A Bronx Tale and A Band’s Visit, which was a recipient for 10 of its 11 nominations at the 72nd Tony Awards including the Tony for Best Musical.
