Sofia Dartnell, RCDS Class of 2018, received a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Sofia is one of just 80 scholars around the world to receive the prestigious award. In the fall of 2022, after graduating from Pomona College, she will attend Cambridge University’s Darwin College to pursue a Ph.D. in zoology. She plans to study the effects of novel environmental land management schemes on bumblebees—as well as ways to strengthen biodiversity on farmlands to support bee populations. Congratulations, Sofia!
