This basketball season, Emory University Guard Ben Pearce ’21 and University of Chicago Guard Shane Regan ’20 played against each other in two exciting NCAA Division III basketball matchups. Both teams are currently nationally ranked in the top-six.

On February 8, Ben led the Eagles to a 97-94 overtime win, with 24 points and nine assists. Shane finished the game with a season-high 33 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals. On February 1, Shane and the Maroons defeated Emory, 74-64, with both RCDS alumni finishing the game as the top scorers.  Both teams are expected to make deep postseason runs in the NCAA Division III Tournament which begins in early March.
