Sabrina Vumbacco ’19 earned First Team All-Patriot League honors and was named to the 2023 Academic All-Patriot League Team, capping off an impressive campaign as a senior on the Bucknell Women’s Swimming & Diving team.

Sabrina led the Bucknell Bison at the 2023 Patriot League Championships with 42 points, earning two individual medals and two more in relays. She won gold in the 1650 freestyle and silver in the 500 freestyle. Sabrina also won the bronze medal on both the 800 freestyle team and the 200 medley relay team. In addition to medaling, Sabrina and the 200 medley relay team set a new school record for the Bison.

In January of her senior year, after posting two individual wins and a relay victory in Bucknell's dual-meet win over Lehigh, Sabrina was named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week.

Leading into her senior season, Sabrina held an astounding set of top-ten records, including: second-fastest 500 freestyle (4:48.90); third-fastest 1000 freestyle (10:02.44) and 1650 freestyle (16:38.65); fourth-fastest 200 butterfly (2:02.42); sixth-fastest 200 freestyle (1:50.14) and 400 IM (4:21.57); and eighth-fastest 100 butterfly (56.08).
