Thomas Alston ’05 was recently selected as the 2025 Prep for Prep Alumni Prize recipient. This selection recognizes Thomas’s continued commitment to the Prep for Prep values of excellence, integrity, commitment, and courage. During his years at RCDS, Thomas brought these values to every endeavor, and he remains committed to the Wildcat community as a member of Alumni Executive Board.

Thomas is currently a Managing Director on the Asset-Based Finance investment team at Centerbridge Partners, L.P. and founded Winning Strategy Group to support middle- to low-income students applying to private schools. He continues to strengthen partnerships, leading a Shark Tank-inspired pitch delivery workshop with rising eighth and ninth graders attending the Prep for Prep Entrepreneurship Camp. He also helped launch Blackstone’s partnership with Prep for Prep and expanded corporate support through a firmwide pitch competition.
