Nicole Fanjul ’02 and Vanessa Jackson ’05

Nicole Fanjul ’02 is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins, where she is a member of the Finance Department’s Banking Practice. Vanessa Jackson ’05 is a partner in Davis Polk's Corporate Department in New York, practicing in the Finance Group.

Marni Aronson ’09

After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with bachelor’s degrees in international studies and Spanish, Marni served as a Teach for America Corps member in Baltimore, Maryland. There, she taught second grade at a public elementary school. Marni joined Success Academy Bed-Stuy 1 in 2015 as an education manager, helping to manage academic support and interventions for scholars with special needs, and leading the school’s administration of the New York state exams. She seeks to help all scholars develop a love of learning. Marni holds a master’s degree in elementary education from Johns Hopkins University. She graduated from RCDS in 2009.

Ramesh Grandhi ’97

Ramesh is a dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeon who treats vascular pathologies through both endovascular techniques and traditional, open microsurgical approaches. In addition, he has a significant interest in treating patients with stroke. After graduating from RCDS in 1997, Ramesh received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and a master’s degree in physiology at Georgetown University. Ramesh attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University and did his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he completed an enfolded fellowship in interventional neuroradiology. He then completed a fellowship in cerebrovascular neurosurgery at the Baptist Neurological Institute in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dana A. Cates ’03

Dana A. Cates graduated from RCDS in 2003. On May 31, 2019, Dana was promoted to the rank of Major in the United States Air Force JAG Corps. She is an attorney who practices military justice, international & operations, and civil law. She also advises commanders on discipline and personnel issues and advises on the legality of programs and operations in support of worldwide missions. She has served in Florida, South Korea, Georgia, and Nevada. After graduating from RCDS, Dana attended Boston College (class of 2007) and Boston College Law School (class of 2011). She commissioned into the USAF in 2013.
