On Friday, February 16, the Boys’ Varsity Squash team captured the program’s third consecutive NYSAIS Championship, defeating Horace Mann, 7-0, at Spence 412 Athletic & Ecology Center. It was an exciting conclusion to the team’s outstanding NYSAIS Tournament performance under the guidance of Director of Squash and Head Coach Elani Landman and Assistant Coaches Gary Solem and Lily Taylor-French.
The team had two strong victories to get to the Championship match, defeating Dalton, 7-0, in the quarterfinals, followed by a 6-1 victory over Trinity in the semifinals.
In the Championship match, the Wildcats had a dominant showing, winning each game:
