Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse Finishes 2025 Season Ranked Fifth by The Journal News/lohud
Congratulations to Rye Country Day’s Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse team, which finished the 2025 season ranked fifth by The Journal News/lohud!
This past spring, the team won its second consecutive NYSAIS Championship with an outstanding 18-2 record. RCDS was the only independent or private school to earn a spot in The Journal News/lohud’s top 10 Girls’ Lacrosse rankings.
A quote from Head Coach Georgette Summers, “The coaches are incredibly proud of the team and everything our student-athletes accomplished. Finishing the season ranked fifth is a terrific achievement and a true testament to the hard work and determination of every player.”
