Sports Clinics

The Athletics department holds sports clinics every fall, winter, and spring. These clinics are held on weekends for one hour and offered to RCDS Lower and Middle School students to teach and develop skills and fundamentals in various sports. The clinics are run by RCDS coaches on campus, and sometimes members of the Varsity team will assist. The offerings and costs will vary, but sports clinics have been run for squash, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball.

The goals for all of the sports clinics are:

  • Developing each player's individual skills
  • Enhancing hand-eye coordination and basic technique
  • Learning the rules of the specific sport, like playing a game and keeping score
  • Teamwork, sportsmanship, and etiquette
  • A love of the game!
