Spirit Week!

Leading up to Wildcat Weekend, RCDS will host an all-school spirit week organized by the Upper School Spirit Club. All students and employees will receive a Wildcat Weekend t-shirt to be worn on Friday, October 22 for an all-school pep rally!

  • Monday, 10/18: Pajama Day
  • Tuesday, 10/19: Wild West Day
  • Wednesday, 10/20: Character Day (dress as your favorite book, TV, or movie character) 
  • Thursday, 10/21: Decades Day
  • Friday, 10/22: Wildcat Weekend T-Shirt Day (please also wear Blue & Gold)

Schedule

FUN RUN
11:30 a.m. - South Field
All members of the Rye Country Day community are invited to participate in a 1-mile Fun Run to kick off the Wildcat Weekend festivities! Fun Run participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help conclude the school-wide "Can Do" Food Drive benefiting the Carver Center Market.

Cost: $20 per participant. Proceeds will be donated to the Caver Center. Please note, this fee is waived for current employees and families who receive financial aid. 

FALL FAIR 
12:00 - 2:00 p.m. - Admissions Lawn

This year, the Fall Fair will be held outdoors. At this annual event, Upper School club leaders facilitate fun activities for the youngest Wildcats including DJ/dancing, gaga, inflatables, and lots more! Students also sell burgers, hotdogs, and other tasty treats to help raise money to fund their club programming.

Cost:  All transactions at the Fall Fair require tickets. To participate in activities or to purchase food at the Fall Fair, please bring cash to purchase Fall Fair Tickets. Each ticket equates to a certain number of dollars. These tickets are only for use at the Fall Fair.

**Food trucks (Westchester Burger, Ramblin Coffee, Mobile Pie) will be available from 2:00 to  5:30 p.m. Please bring cash for direct payment.**

  • 1:00  p.m. - Girls’ Varsity Soccer vs. Millbrook 
  • 1:30 p.m. - Boys' Varsity Soccer vs. French American School
  • 2:00 p.m. - Varsity Field Hockey vs. Hopkins 
  • 3:30 pm. - Varsity Football vs. Hackley

Team Rosters

Halftime Fun! Students in Pre-K – Grade 12 can participate in games and friendly competition (with prizes!) during halftime of the Wildcat Football Game.

  • Students in Pre-K – Grade 5 will shoot soccer goals
  • Students in Grades 5 – 12 will kick field goals

To participate, students should line up by the field gate entrance near the senior parking lot with 3 minutes to go in the second half. Get ready to show off that Wildcat spirit! Special thanks to Girls' & Boys' Varsity Soccer for organizing the fun. Go Wildcats! 

Support the Carver Center!

Participants of the Fun Run and all Wildcat Weekend attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to wrap up the "Can Do" Food Drive. All food donations will go to the Carver Center Food Pantry.
