During February, students and faculty at RCDS recognize and celebrate Black History Month in various forms. In a growing tradition, several Upper School students handed out stickers featuring the colors of the Pan-African Flag. Throughout the school, images of prominent and inspirational African Americans have been posted. (Be sure to check them out next time you are on campus.) Ali Morgan, director of Diversity and Inclusion, commented, "Black History Month is a time when we make a special point to celebrate the achievements of African Americans, but we also work all year long to make sure that black people and all people of color see themselves reflected in our curriculum and in our community."
