New Apprenticeship Program Launches for the Makerspace

When the Cohen Center for the Creative Arts opens in the fall, students in all three divisions will gain access to a brand new, design-oriented makerspace with leading-edge equipment. To prepare, several upper schoolers are studying to become Makerspace Apprentices, learning skills needed to use the computer software and hardware tools. Next year, they will be the tour guides for the space, helping students and teachers alike take advantage of the many learning opportunities the Makerspace presents!

Computer Science Chair Katie O'Shaughnessey, Art Department Chair Eric Drotch, and Science Department Chair/STEAM Coordinator Cathie Bischoff took a quick tour of the Cohen Center under construction!
