This spring, several students from Engineering & Robotics and AP Biology participated in clinical tutorial seminars and robotic surgery workshops at White Plains Hospital. In the seminars, students were introduced to advancements in diagnosing and treating diseases across a broad range of medical specialties. At the robotic surgery workshop, students learned about the history of surgery, particularly laparoscopy and minimally invasive methods. Afterwards, students scrubbed in to explore a DaVinci Robotic Surgery simulator.
