Julia Lindon '09 Returns to RCDS to Teach Peer Leaders

Alumna, former head peer leader, writer, comedian, actor, and producer Julia Lindon '09 recently returned to campus to teach an improv class to peer leaders. Julia guided the group through a number of challenging and entertaining exercises that had them laughing and learning.

Julia is the writer, creator, and star of the independent TV pilot, Lady Liberty, which is the recipient of the inaugural 'Made in NY' Women's Film & TV Fund grant. Lady Liberty is premiering at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival as part of Tribeca TV. She has acted in Comedy Central's Detroiters and worked on the production team of Saturday Night Live and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and FOX's Last Man on Earth. She co-created the comedic web series Kill Me Now and co-hosts Happy Campers, a summer camp-themed podcast. We were thrilled to have Julia back at RCDS, and we look forward to seeing her in January, when she returns for a screening of Lady Liberty.
