Upper School and Lower School Tie in School-Wide Recycling Challenge

Every year, all three divisions compete for victory in the RCDS Recycling Challenge. During the month-long challenge, which starts on America Recycles Day in November, students from each division (the Lower School Reducing Turtles, the Middle School Green Team, and Upper School AP Environmental Science students) collect data from school recycling bins to analyze how well students are following the single stream recycling guidelines. This fun competition encourages all to be informed recyclers for life.

The year's challenge results? The first-ever tie. Congratulations to the Upper School and the Lower School whose trash and recycling bins averaged 81% compliant with single stream recycling guidelines.
