With the end of the school year around the corner, Lower Schoolers enjoyed Field Day with their peers! Students participated in a variety of sports at different stations including lacrosse, soccer, an obstacle course, home run derby, bean bag toss, gaga, soccer, dancing, and other activities. The day’s activities celebrated retiring Coach Gil Castagna’s favorite games and the sports he coached at RCDS.

Before the festivities, the community honored Coach C. with special remarks from Director of Physical Education Jenny Smith. Students also carried cutout pictures of Coach C. and wore bracelets thanking him for all he has done for the community in the past 45 years. After the conclusion of the games, Lower School Principal Stacey Sotirhos shared a few words about Coach C. and congratulated the students on a wonderful school year.
