2025 Hall of Fame Dinner and Reunion Celebrate Blue & Gold Bonds Across Generations

Wildcat Weekend brought many familiar faces back home to RCDS, as alumni reunited with classmates and beloved faculty members at various events.

Alumni Hall of Fame Reception

On Friday, October 17, at the Alumni Hall of Fame Reception, alumni, colleagues, family, and friends gathered to recognize our newest inductees. The ceremony was a moving demonstration of Rye Country Day excellence and the caring relationships that make the RCDS community a lifelong, adoring family.

2025 Alumni Hall of Fame Inductees

  • Virginia La Grange Hearon '64 (W. Lee Pierson Distinguished Alumni Award)
  • Chris Britt '91 (Academic/Professional Achievement Award)
  • Clay Enos '87 (Arts Award)
  • Coach Georgette Summers and The 2015 Undefeated Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team (R. Adrian Walters III '91 Athletic Award)
  • Tony Stein '81 (Service Award)
  • Joseph Rue (Special Award)

The Alumni Hall of Fame was created in 2005 by the Alumni Executive Board created to recognize and celebrate the achievements of RCDS alumni in their post-graduation careers and lives. Alumni are inducted into the Hall of Fame in one of four categories: Academic/Professional, Arts, Athletics, and Service. In addition, RCDS faculty and staff are inducted for their outstanding contributions to the School (in the "Special" category).  The highest honor for alumni, the Distinguished Alumni Award, was established to recognize an individual whose generosity and exemplary commitment to service have significantly bettered our society and the RCDS community.  The award is named for the late Dr. W. Lee Pierson, who served as Head of School for 14 years.

Class of 2020 Make-Up Prom
A special part of the 2025 Reunion festivities was the Make-Up Prom for the Class of 2020. When the world reeled from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and senior class celebrations around the globe were put on hold, RCDS promised to deliver the Class of 2020 their high school prom experience at their five-year Reunion. Fast forward five years, the School kept its promise. Read more about the joyous event here.

Golden Alumni & Reunion Cocktail Reception
On Saturday, October 18, members of the Class of 1975 gathered to celebrate their 50th reunion. Alumni with class years ending in 0 and 5 also gathered in the PAC Foyer to catch up, make new connections, and celebrate shared RCDS bonds. Current/former faculty and staff  members also joined the festivities. It was absolutely wonderful to welcome our Wildcats back home to RCDS!
