A Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12 co-educational independent day school in Westchester County, New York

2025 Lower School Field Day

CONNECTION was the theme of this years’ Lower School Field Day. Students in K - Grade 4 teamed up in Blue and Gold groups to play cooperative games, including Connect 4, rope walk, Rock-Paper-Scissors, kickball, Tic-Tac-Toe, and GaGa, along with a relay race, hula hoop passing, an obstacle course, and more.  It was a morning of fun, energy, connection and a whole lot of RCDS spirit.

A special highlight of LS Field Day is Opening Ceremonies, which kick off the festivities with a student and teacher recitation of the Olympic Oath emphasizing fairplay, good sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Thank you to the Physical Education Department, Lower School teachers, and parent/guardian volunteers who helped make it a special and successful Field Day!

Go, Wildcats!
