Amanda Gui ’27’s Documentary Selected for All American High School Film Festival

Amanda Gui ’27’s documentary Golden Eagle has been named an Official Selection of the 2026 All American High School Film Festival (AAHSFF).

Her film follows members of the New York Golden Eagle Senior Corp, a senior care center in Flushing, Queens. Through the meals, music, and activities they share, Amanda explores how members care for one another and build community while navigating the physical challenges of aging.

The AAHSFF celebrates student filmmakers from around the world, giving them opportunities to screen their work, learn from film industry professionals, and connect with fellow young filmmakers. Official Selections are chosen by a panel of industry judges and are eligible for award nominations.

Congratulations, Amanda!
