AP Biology Students Create Glowing Bacteria

Following the AP Biology exam, students visited the Makerspace to participate in  one of three biotech labs exploring how to:

  • Use a cell-free technique to observe the transcription and translation process, which uses the information in DNA to produce proteins.
  • Identify different sharks in a "mystery" using DNA fingerprinting and gel electrophoresis.
