To conclude the last day of class, the AP Environmental Science students celebrated with s’mores made in the School’s solar oven. One of the units in the course is about renewable and solar energy. The students were pleased to put into action what they learned in class to use the rays of the sun to heat their chocolate and marshmallows, without generating any harmful emissions.
The student won two medals, one in board breaking and one in forms.
On November 21, the WildScats had the exciting opportunity to perform the national anthem at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
From Dr. Liedtke’s talk, students deepened their understanding of the neuroscience of migraines.

Having authored their own version of the Epic of Gilgamesh made the fifth graders proud to share the story and their work with their younger schoolmates.
