From August 21-23, RCDS Assistant Athletic Trainer Mr. D’Onza and his parents participated in the Susan G. Komen cancer walk in Boston, MA. The walk involves participants walking 20 miles per day for one, two, or three days throughout the Boston area, passing well-known historical landmarks and some of the city's oldest neighborhoods, including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and Downtown. Mr. D’Onza represented RCDS on Day two sporting an ice hockey jersey.

Since 2003, Susan G. Komen has raised more than $927 million to save lives, support community programs, increase access to care, and make strides in breast cancer research, therapies, and treatments. More information on Susan G. Komen’s mission can be found here.
