This past summer, Charlotte Crowley ’28 spent nearly six weeks competing in prestigious sailing competitions.

From June 20-28, Charlotte Crowley ’28 participated in the Kieler Woche in Kiel, Germany. For more than 140 years Kiel Week has been one of the world's largest sailing events, combining top-level regatta racing in Olympic classes with unique international flair. Charlotte and her partner placed third out of 45 boats to earn a bronze medal finishing the regatta with a win in the last race.

Then from July 3-11, Charlotte competed in Biscarrosse, France with Team USA at the I420 World Championships. The prestigious event consisted of three days of qualifying for the final Gold/Silver races. Charlotte and her partner qualified for the Gold fleet which highlighted the top 50% of the field and finished 30th out of 108 (6th placed mixed boat) in the U17 fleet.

Lastly, on July 28-30, Charlotte attended the C420 Women’s North American Championship in Rochester, NY. This was her first C420 regatta as a skipper and she placed ninth out of 49 boats.
