Class of 2026 Celebrates College Choices at Senior BBQ

Ahead of the 2026 Upper School Graduation Exercises, members of the Class of 2026 enjoyed the annual Senior BBQ.

A beloved end-of-year tradition, the Senior BBQ brings together twelfth graders, their families, and Upper School faculty and staff to celebrate the accomplishments of the senior class. One of the event’s most meaningful traditions is the signing of college pennants.

Each year, the College Counseling Office invites graduating seniors to sign the pennant of the college or university they will attend. These pennants are then displayed and preserved in the College Counseling Office as keepsakes and reminders of the many paths Rye Country Day graduates have taken over the years.

It was a wonderful celebration ahead of graduation, and a fitting way to honor the Class of 2026. We are so proud of you, Wildcats!
