Donna Zhang ’24 Reads Her Children’s Book to RCDS First Grade
First graders recently had a special visit from junior Donna Zhang ’24, who read aloud her recently-published children’s book, Dancing with the Spirit of the Golden Tiger. Donna’s book, which is loosely autobiographical, tells the story of a young girl who finds pride in her Chinese culture and freedom in ballet. The themes in Dancing with the Spirit of the Golden Tiger tied in well with the first graders’ social studies unit on global communities and learning about different cultures around the world.
Dancing with the Spirit of the Golden Tiger is available in RCDS libraries.
