Joy filled the Black Box Theater as the Lower School held its first Community Meeting of 2026! 

Each meeting is led by a rotating group of fourth graders who present about themselves to the peers. Lower School Principal Dr. Sotirhos welcomed students and spoke about the Book of the Month tied to the theme of courage and the Lower School’s monthly focus of “Start With Hello!” Director of Athletics Tom Curran shared information about the upcoming Winter Wildcat Weekend on January 30, along with Spirit Committee Co-Chairs Richie Morrow and Clare Keating. Third graders in Ms. Sage’s French class then performed a song titled “En voici, en voila” by Alain Le Lait or "here are some delicious little dishes" in English.

The meeting ended with the Lower Schoolers receiving their trophy for tying for first place in the Recycling Challenge.
