Grade 5 Performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
An interactive part of the fifth grade Drama curriculum is the yearly, informal performance of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night's Dream.” The process first begins in December, where students learn the building blocks of theater including understanding their characters/roles, best practices for speaking and showing emotion, and how to stage a scene. The culminating event was the daytime performance for teachers and faculty in the Black Box Theater prior to Spring Break!
