Throughout April, Grade 6 science students worked on their Human Body Systems Amusement Park projects in the Makerspace. The project challenged students to create a ride that represented one of the following human body systems: circulatory, respiratory, nervous, digestive, muscular, skeletal, or excretory. Students used 3D printing materials, Legos, K’NEX, craft items, and upcycled toys and games to build their 3D model systems and created a digital presentation to share with the class. This innovative project was an engaging way for students to learn more about the body systems and collaborate with their classmates.
