Sixth graders conducted research and created blueprints to build their own wind-powered cars in science class. The project asked students to make a vehicle that can be pushed solely by wind while carrying lightweight materials. Once they created their blueprints, Middle Schoolers built their model cars in the Makerspace, ensuring that they followed specific size and weight requirements. Later in the classroom, students tested their cars and recorded their results to see which could travel the longest distance. Students then presented their design process and findings to their classmates.
