A Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12 co-educational independent day school in Westchester, New York

Halloween at Rye Country Day

The lead up to Halloween at RCDS is fun and playfully spooky. In addition to the School’s usual stunning fall-themed decor of pumpkins and mums, PA volunteers added some spooktacular flare to each division’s buildings, as well as outdoor spaces. With everything from ghosts to spiders and not-too-scary monsters, campus was ready for Halloween celebrations. Thank you to our wonderful PA volunteers for bringing  Halloween joys and thrills to our students.

On Friday, October 29, Lower School students came to school in costume and participated in the annual—and absolutely adorable—Halloween Parade. Pre-K - Grade 1 parents and guardians came to enjoy the parade alongside Grades 2 - 4 spectators. Everyone cheered happily as students paraded by and paused to share a short song or poem. Fun, fun, fun! Special thanks to Ms. Liebowitz for organizing the parade.

Middle and Upper School students, as well as faculty members, also joined the fun, showing off a range of creative costumes.
