Honoring Senior Spring Athletes

Carrying on our senior athlete tributes for 2020-21, we now wrap up the year honoring our Grade 12 spring athletes.

During the spring season, student-athletes were able to return to interscholastic competition, and the seniors were ready to shine. They impressed us with their leadership and skills in their various sports, and they made RCDS proud at every athletic event.

“I feel a great sense of appreciation and admiration for the student-athletes and coaches who participated this spring. We all approached this season wondering if we would finally get to have interscholastic competition. We did it! The Wildcats played, and spectators watched contests at home and on the road. Everyone was grateful to hear the sound of the bat cracking, tennis balls bouncing, goals scored, runners, jumpers, and throwers giving their all, sailing on the Sound, and tee shots on the first hole. Led by the seniors, the Wildcats prepared, practiced, and competed with heads held high and spirited enthusiasm. - Wendy Haft, Director of Athletics & Physical Education”
