Rye Country Day’s Directors of Global Studies (Dan Murray) and the Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning  (Dr. Jessica Flaxman) were recently published in the Institute for Global Learning’s Annual Report on Global Education.

Their article, Facilitating Connection, highlights how Rye Country Day enacted this year’s all-school theme of connection through a new phone-free policy and  a comprehensive dialogue framework.

 In addition, Mr. Murray and Assistant Head of School for Academics Dr. Meredith deChabert led a presentation related to using dialogue to foster connection in schools at the recent Global Educators Conference held by the Institute for Global Learning.
