Joanne Shang Presents at 2024 American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Conference
Upper School Chinese Teacher and Chinese Exchange Program Coordinator Joanne Shang recently presented at the 2024 American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Annual Convention and World Languages Expo in Philadelphia, PA. Her workshop, “Transform Chinese Teaching: Practical AI Applications in Action” offered three innovative AI tools to help educators transform their Chinese language teaching. Ms. Shang demonstrated how practical, hands-on AI applications could help educators create engaging content, offer personalized student support, and integrate cutting-edge technology for an enhanced educational experience.
