The Science & STEAM Club, part of RCDS’s after-school clubs program, gives students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 the opportunity to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Throughout the year, students have explored a variety of hands-on experiments and challenges including leaf chromatography, an egg drop, balloon rocket races, creating homemade thermometers, and even learning how to tap a maple tree for syrup.

Each activity has challenged the club members to learn new concepts and further build their curiosity and creativity. The Lower Schoolers have also gained a deeper understanding of the world around them!
