Lilia Schukin ’28, Jenny Xu ’27, and Arianna Yu ’28 Earn Bronze Medal at 2026 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships

Lilia Schukin ’28, Jenny Xu ’27, and Arianna Yu ’28 each earned a bronze medal at the 2026 International Skating Union Synchronized Skating Junior World Championships in Gdansk, Poland, proudly representing Team USA as members of Skyliners Junior, a team based in Fairfield, CT. 

Held on March 13-14, the competition featured 26 teams from 21 countries, showcasing the world’s top junior synchronized skating talent.

In their short program, Lilia, Jenny, and Arianna’s team placed second for their impressive performance to The Untouchables. The trio also free skated to Carmen. The team earned the overall bronze medal after their success in both the short program and free skate.

The Skyliners Junior have had a terrific 2025-26 season thus far reaching the podium in all seven competitions, four of which were international. They are the first team in world history to medal at seven-straight Junior World Championships. The team has amassed one gold, four silver, and two bronze medals.
