LS and US Take First Place in Annual Recycling Challenge

The All-School Recycling Challenge results are in! The Lower and Upper School divisions tied for first place averaging 77% correctly sorted trash in school recycling bins. This annual four-week competition, which runs from America Recycles Day on November 15 through December 15, provides an engaging opportunity to raise awareness of recycling properly on campus and at home.

Throughout the challenge, nearly 500 bins were checked by students across the divisions to see whether they were correctly or incorrectly sorted. Thank you to the Lower School Triple R Club, the Middle School Green Team, and the Upper School AP Environmental Science classes for educating their divisions about sorting trash and recycling properly, as well as collecting the data each week.
