Melody W. ’28 received an individual award in the Carnegie Mellon Women's Mathematics Competition (CMWMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition, her team tied for fourth place in the tournament, which is an in-person math contest open to female or non-binary middle and high school students. Participants compete in individual, guts (team), and relay rounds in the topics of algebra, combinatorics, and computer science.
