Monthly Clean-Up Team Visits Rye Nature Center

On Saturday, November 15, students from all divisions, parents, faculty, and staff teamed up at Rye Nature Center to participate in RCDS’s monthly clean-up program.

Working together, the group carefully removed invasive Japanese Wisteria plants, which have complex root systems. The Upper Schoolers were especially pleased to learn they had broken the record for the longest root system removed at Rye Nature Center—40 feet, 10 inches long!

Thank you to our participants for their engagement in our monthly Clean-Up Program, an RCDS Public Purpose and Sustainability collaboration.
