Neil Noronha ’24 was named a candidate in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholar Program, which recognizes the nation’s most distinguished graduating seniors.
Neil Noronha is an outstanding student who exemplifies academic excellence and possesses a range of diverse interests. Taking an exceptionally demanding curriculum at RCDS, he has skillfully surpassed expectations in the most advanced courses including Honors English Seminar, AP Physics C, Multivariable Calculus, and Advanced Topics in Data Structures. His drive to embrace new and advanced academic experiences has led him to pursue additional coursework in Columbia University’s Science Honors Program and to create two independent study courses in astrophysics and sustainable engineering. Beyond his academic pursuits, Neil is the Captain of the Upper School Robotics team, a varsity wrestler, a pianist, and a dedicated music mentor at the Stamford Boys and Girls Club. Deeply committed to global social impact, Neil volunteered in India in the summer of 2023, teaching leadership skills to young students.
