This fall, Ms. Quintyne’s Pre-Kindergarten class have especially enjoyed the beautiful autumnal leaves around campus. Inspired by their surroundings, the students wanted to complete an art project incorporating the fall leaves, and they invited the Upper School Peer Leaders to join them.
On a lovely November afternoon, several Peer Leaders visited the Lower School Play Area and led their Pre-K friends for a nature walk around campus, stopping to pick up (and play with!) red, yellow, and orange leaves. With plenty of colorful leaves in hand, the Peer Leaders helped the Pre-Kindergartners assemble beautiful autumn leaf collages.
It was a sweet cross-divisional activity that centered learning, art, and community connection!
