It was a perfect September Sunday for the return of the Back-to-School Block Party! Hundreds of members of the RCDS community attended the beloved community event, welcoming new and returning students and their families and employees to the new year.

The energy was high and community spirit was all around as students, families, and employees participated in fun activities, enjoyed delicious food from FLIK and several local vendors and food trucks, and danced to favorite songs. Willy the Wildcat was also there giving his sought-after high fives, and one group collaborated on a beautiful COMMUNITY sidewalk mural.

Thank you to everyone who attended this beloved community celebration. Special thanks to our incredible Parents Association volunteers led by the event chairs, Danielle Eason, Deborah Katz, Victoria Maggard, and Vera Merrill, and our dedicated employees for making the Block Party such a success. It was a perfect way to welcome new and returning students and their families, faculty, and staff to the new year.
