On January 19, 2024, three members of the RCDS student support team presented at the NYSAIS Support Services Conference. 

Libby Jelliffe, Director of Learning Support Services and Middle School Learning Support Specialist, Jamie Radwan, Lower School Learning Specialist, and Rachel Levey, Upper School Counselor, teamed up to share with their NYSAIS colleagues Rye Country Day’s work to develop and implement a three-tiered approach to support students across all three divisions. Their presentation included the impetus for this all-school learning support project, the development process, and the implementation, which began at the start of the 2023-24 school year. 

The goal of their presentation was for fellow support professionals to feel empowered to help teachers provide proactive support inside their classrooms.
