On Saturday, April 30, 16 RCDS students (11 Upper School facilitators and five Middle School students) and four faculty members attended the 10th annual MOSAIC Diversity Conference for middle school students. The conference, which was held at Greenwich Country Day School and open to all middle school students at Fairchester schools, focused on diversity, inclusion, and community impact. Learning from each other’s backgrounds, ideas, and perspectives, participants gained a deeper understanding of ways to create and sustain a diverse community. One of the staples of the conference is action-based planning, where each school, led by their middle school delegates, works toward articulating and realizing its community aspirations. The inspiring day provided a wonderful in-person opportunity to connect and collaborate with fellow Fairchester school community members.

Alexander Nichols ’22, Cleo Saltz ’24, and Tyvaughn Jones ’22 won in their respective events, and Alexander broke the RCDS 100-meter dash record.
The students were thrilled to spend the day at school with their loved ones and show them what makes RCDS special to them.
The show included students from RCDS, Rye High School, Rye Neck High School, Hackley School, and Port Chester High School.
